Dear Ones,

I know you sent us the enclosed form to tell you about our stay at your facility but it didn’t seem there was enough room to enumerate all of the things you did so well.

From the moment my fiancé called you, you behaved in both professional and friendly manner. The fact that it went off seamlessly is a gift I treasure. I bought my dress and shoes on the 6th of December. In that short span, we booked cars, flights, flowers, and thankfully found you in our search.

From the time that we arrived until we left, we were treated so very well. The staff was amazing. The weather was iffy that day as we drove off to Captiva Island it began to rain. I thought where would they serve us with all this wind and rain? When we returned for our reception everything had been handled. They had moved everything inside and gave us a beautiful space that was warm and intimate. We ate to our heart’s content all of the lovely hor d’oeuvres. They were a tasty meal in themselves. We listened to some wonderful live piano music and were serenaded by the lovely pianist. We later moved into a dining room that was set beautifully and gave us and our guests a night to remember. More wonderful food. More excellent service. Time to enjoy ourselves and our guests.

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and hope to spend our first anniversary with you.

Hi Josh,

I have been wanting to get a letter off to you since our wedding but time has gotten away from me somehow! Thank you so much for making our special day truly special. It was perfect to us in every way. I told you before when I was first shopping for a place to have our wedding, I felt many of the places on the beach were just concerned with booking rooms and didn’t cater to the “locals”. You made me feel very welcome and comfortable right from the start and even though we did not have a $10,000 wedding, you still went over and above to make it a first class event. All the special touches were truly appreciated and I knew I would be happy when we first drove up and saw our names on the sign. Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room was a nice surprise too. Please forward it to management for me as I only have your e-mail address. I also filled out the questionnaire that was sent to my e-mail address. Please make sure management knows how pleased we were with your help and Dave as well (I think he is restaurant manager???). Again, the wonderful memories I will always have from that day were made possible by you and everyone at DiamondHead. Thank you DiamondHead for being so accommodating and making a local couple feel welcome in their hometown!!!

Just wanted to say thank you for putting everything together for Gina and I! It was better than I could have imagined! You and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job start to finish! I was especially impressed with Marcel and his help on the terrace. What a great crew to have when entertaining guests! We’ll be back on the beach once or twice a year and will definitely stop by to say hello.

Dear Josh,

I can’t even tell you what an impression you have made on us during our trip to Fort Myers Beach.  We came down from the Philadelphia area to sit in the sun and enjoy a wedding.  Every Wedding has it’s own set of wrenches thrown into the mix; but a rehearsal dinner for 40 people that has to be canceled because of a gas line break is a complication no one expects!  Thank you for your patience, support, caring and most of all accommodations for 40 people in a matter of hours.  The food was wonderful and the Bride and Groom were speechless.  They were still talking about it at the wedding the next day.  We hope to visit you again.
